EFFECT OF DIFFERENT RATIOS OF N, P AND K ON PERFORMANCE OF FLAME SEEDLESS GRAPE GRAFTED ON SALT CREEK ROOTSTOCK

The present study was performed during 2014 and 2015 seasons on four years - old Flame Seedless cv. Grafted on Salt Creek rootstock, in a private vineyard at Badr City, Beheira Governorate. The soil was sandy. The vines were of almost similar vigor, supported by Gable system. Distances were 2m between vines and 3m between rows were irrigated and fertilized through the fertigation system. 81 vine were chosen and subjected to studied treatments. Thus, 9 treatments were tested in this study. Using the randomized complete block with three replicate was represented by three vines. The vines were fertilized with three levels of nitrogen 20, 40 and 60 kg /feddan net nitrogen and added potassium levels where the ratio of 1 : 2 and 1: 3 for each level of nitrogen levels, With the stability of the phosphorus component ratio of half dose for nitrogen . The control was considered the vines which received 40 kg N/feddan + 20 kg p/feddan + 80 kg K/feddan which was the common fertilization applied in the farm. The effect of different ratios of NPK were evaluated on yield / vine , cluster weight , cluster length , pedicel diameter , pedicel length , tours thickness , brush length . However berry characters including physical and chemical prosperities were determined, also , leaf area and pruning weight were also determined .Data showed that increasing the level of N+P+K up to 40 kg N/feddan + 20 kg P/feddan + 80 K/feddan significantly increased yield/vine, cluster weight, cluster length, berry length, berry diameter, weight of 100 berries, TSS (%), acidity, TSS / acid ratio and total anthocyanin(mg/g F.W.) for fertilizing flame seedless grape grafted on salt creek Rootstock.
Generally, it could by recommended that fertilized Flame Seedless grapes grafted on silt creck rootstock with 40 : 20 : 80 absoluted units of NPK greatly improved berries colouring of this grape cultivar by increasing total anthoyanine content . Data also declare that in case of Flame seedless grafted on salt Creck rootstock vines must be used 40 units of nitrogen or less for the great vigorous of this rootstocks
