Photo analytical methods for the determination of some industrial potentials materials

Ali Hussien Ali Mohamed;

Abstract

The study presented in this thesis include development and application of some analytical techniques namely fluorimetry and spectrophotometry for the determination of some active drugs components (e.g. Nalbuphin HCl) and xanthin oxidase enzyme in Serum Samples .
The thesis is divided into 3 chapters.
Chapter one :-
Includes a general introduction on lanthanides and other methods used for determination of Nalbuphin HCl and xanthin oxidase enzyme in Serum Samples.
Chapter two :-
Describes a highly selective and sensitive spectrofluorimetric method for the assessment of Nalbuphin HCl in pharmaceutical ampoules and serum sample based on the quenching of luminescence intensity of the Optical sensor Tb-4'carboxybenzo-18crown-6-ether complex . in (pH = 6.5) PH of sensor the Nalbuphin HCl can remarkably quenching the luminescence intensity of Tb -4'carboxybenzo-18crown-6-ether complex at λex= 285 nm . the produced luminescence intensity of Tb -4'carboxybenzo-18crown-6-ether complex in DMF is proportional to the concentration of 4'carboxybenzo-18crown-6-ether and can used as optical sensor for its determination.Limit of detection (LOD)= 1.6 x 10-8 mol L-1

Chapter three:-
Describes a highly selective and sensitive spectrofluorimetric method for the assessment of xanthin oxidase enzyme (XO) in Serum Samples based on the quenching of luminescence intensity of the Optical sensor nano Tb -pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylicacid [Tb-PDA] complex doped in sol-gel matrix at pH=7.5 by using the phosphate buffer and λex=285 nm, λem=545 Limit of detection (LOD) = 2.9 × 10−9mol L-1.
