Emergencies in otorhinolarynology

Abstract

Emergencies in ear, nose and throat are common in all communities, in this study the majority of these conditions are benign but there are critical emergencies that must immediately recognized and treated from these critical emergencies is the acute air way obstruction.

In this study will discuss these potentially life threatening condition such as air way obstruction, foreign body, epistaxies, acute epiglottitis and acute throat infection.

Air way obstruction is the real emergencies which may lead to death in minutes that needs rapid maneuvers to save the patient

Epistaxies or bleeding from the ear also dangerous and required special care rapid treatment will decrease the mortality and morbidity and also lead to decrease the dangerous of complications.
