Abstract


Thischapterpresentedtheproposedplatformforplacement ofana- logICsusingSMTZ3solver.Itshowedtheplatform architectureand its flowofoperation whereanalog layout constraintsareentered by theuserastext, andthen converted bytheplatform intocorrespond-

ingequations inasyntax that canbeprocessedbythesolver. Then theplatform passestheequations tothesolver,andafterwards reads thesolveroutput.Inthesubsequentstepittranslates theoutputinto coordinates, andfinallypassesthesecoordinates toalayoutviewerto allowtheusertoselectthebestlayout.
Thechapter alsoprovidedashortsurveyforshapefunctionusage inanalogICplacement, andexplainedhow theshapefunctionconcept willbeexploitedinthisplatform.
Theworkinthischapter hasbeenpublishedin[112]andin[113]. Thenextchapterdiscussesthedeploymentthisplatformonacloud
computing environment.
