Utilization of Industrial By-Product (Lime Clay) in Cement Mortars

Abstract

The environmental pollution is considered as one of the age I problems that the world countries fights it, so that they can decrease the deases affecting human life. I In our study, we hope to solve the pollution caused by lime clay, I which is resulted from manufacturing of beet root sugar.

I The lime clay takes a large area around the factors producing beet root sugar, the quantity produced from 4 factories in Kafr El I Shiekh, Dakahlia, and Fayoum is about 207360 ton/year in A.R.E.

I We can take over this material by using it in filling up lakes as done in Kafr Elshiekh, but it still have a huge area in Dakahlia and I Fayoum.

I In our study, we found that lime clay can used m buildings constructions. I In Chapter 1, we have an introduction about pollution types, and I its bad effect on human life.

I In Chapter 2, we covered all types of wastes, reserved an idea about lime clay, other types of wastes including industrial, I agricultural, or even from schools, hospitals, ... etc. even this wastes were solid, liquid or gaseous. All these covers depended on the internet I and several resources we visit it.
