Abstract
Some Reactions on Substituted 3-0xo-coumarin
This part discusses the Michael condensation of 3- carbethoxycoumarin with acetylacetone in the presence of dry sodium methoxide as a catalyst and the behavior of the product 10-acetyl-7,9-dihydroxy-SH-dibenzo[b,d]pyran-6-one towards carbon electrophiles, nitrogen nucleophiles and carbon nucleophiles. The new heterocycles coumarinic system compounds and their physical data and the methods which confirmed their structures are summerised in Scheme A.
