Abstract
Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease is the commonest fom1 of chronic l iver disease in developed countries. It is associated with several deleterious metabolic derangements and can progress to steatohepatiti s, fibrosis, and eventually l i ver cirrhosis so it is necessitating to develop effective thera peutic in terventions. Although lifestyle change is currently the ma in recommendation for pati ents w ith NAFLD, the effect of increasing physical activity has not been thorough l y investigated (George et al., 2009).
