FACILE SYNTHETIC PROCESS OF SOME NEW HETEROCYCLIC CYANINE DYE DERIVATIVES.

Abstract

Some new unsymmetrical substituted pyrazolo, condensed furano (4,5-d) pyrazolo, pyrazolo (2,3-b) pyran, pyrazolo (4,5-d) pyrimidine, pyrazolo (4,5-d) heterocycles metal chetate and bis pyrazo1o (2,3-d, 2',3'-'b) pyran cyanine dyes were prepared, covenng mono/tri-3[4(1)]/3[2(4)] methine, mono-3[2(4)] methine apocyanine, substituted mono-3 [4(1)] methine acyclic mero cyanine, mono {3[2(4)], 2[4(1)], 2[2(4)], 3(4), 4[2(4)], 4[4(1)]}, bis mono-3 [4(1)], 4[2(4)] or 4[4(1)] methine cyanine, mono­ methine merocyarune 4,4"-[2(4)] cyclic merocyanine, mono-4(3) methine base cyclic merocyarune, mono substituted tri [4(3)], 4[4(1)] methine acyclic [base cyclic] merocyarune, meso substituted tri 4(2)/ 4(4) methine cyanine, zero methine cyclic merocyanine and mono 2'[4(2)] tri '4(4) methine cyanines. The new synthesised cyanines were identified by elemental analysis, IR, 1H-NMR and Mass spectral data. The UV-visible absorption

spectra of some selected dyes were investigated in pure and mixed solutions as well as in aqueous universal buffer solutions.
