ROLE OF ANTIPLATELET ANTIBODIES IN CHILDREN WITH CHRONIC LIVER DISEASE

Abstract
The data collected were subjected to statistical analysis:
*In group I:
- 11 patients showed normal platelet counts while 31 patients showed thrombocytopenia.
- 12 patients showed negative antiplatelet antibodies while 30 patients showed positive results.
- 7 patients showed negative ACA-IgG while 35 patients showed positive results.
* In group II:
- All patients showed severe thrombocytopenia.
- 3 patients showed negative antiplatelet antibodies while 12 patients showed positive results.
- 7 patients showed negative ACA-IgG while 8 patients showed
positive results.
*In group Ill:
- All children showed normal platelet counts.
- Only one child showed positive antiplatelet antibodies and 14 showed negative results.
- All children showed negative ACA-IgG results.
*In group I:
