Abstract
The present study aimed to investigate vitamin-D sufficiency/ deficiency in a sample of healthy Egyptian adult males (in Dakahlia Governorate). This prospective study was conducted at Dakahlia Governorate. It included 90 healthy males selected randomly in-&outpatient clinic subjects and their healthy relatives of Elgamalia General Hospital in the period from December 2012 to May 2013. All patients were screened according to a strict protocol consisting of a complete medical history, a full examination, laboratory tests including (hemoglobin, serum creatinine, ionized calcium and 25-(OH) vitamin D).
