Rehab El-Sayed Omar El-Attar;
Abstract
Aim of the Work
The present study aimed to the fabrication of fast response, disposable sensors with improved sensitivity and selectivity via incorporation of macrocyclic sensing ionophores and carbon nanomaterials for pharmaceutical analysis and environmental pollution monitoring.
The following protocols were applied for achieving the goal of the thesis
• Application of different macrocyclic sensing ionophores, nanomaterials and theirs nanocomposites with expected selectivity to the target analyts.
• Optimization of the sensors matrices compositions including the nature of the sensing element, nanomaterials and other constitutes of the sensors.
• Optimization of the fabrication protocols for different electrode designs such as screen printed electrodes (single and bielectrode system), solid contact electrodes and carbon paste electrode.
• Application of the fabricated sensors for direct potentiometric determination of some selected drug with full optimizations of the measuring parameters.
