Abstract
Two experiments were carried out during the two successive
seasons of 2011-2012 and 2012- 2013 in private sector Farm at El-Dair
village, Qalubia Governorate, Egypt, and laboratory of Post Harvest
and Handling of Vegetables Crops, Horticultural Research Institute,
ARC to study the effect of different nitrogen fertilizer levels and foliar
spray with Humic acid and Amica as well as their interaction for
improving the quality and increasing storage ability of strawberry fruits
cv. Sweet Charlie.

1. Vegetative growth
a. Effect of different nitrogen fertilizer levels
Adding nitrogen fertilizer at a rate of 100% compost of the
recommended dose of NPK led to increase the vegetative growth of
strawberry plants expressed as plant height, leaf numbers, leaf area
