New Muslim Generation in Europe: Islamization and Assimilation With Special Emphasis on the Case of the Netherlands
Salma Anwar Abd EI-Fattah;
Abstract
The composite nature of the relationship between Islam and the West cannot be understood by working with static categories in which particular features are assigned to each side. Attention should be paid to the changes or developments that might occur by time in each side's characteristics which applies to the new generations of Muslims in Europe who seem to be turning a new page of encounter between both sides.
