Abstract
Breast cancer remains the most common cancer diagnosed among women in developed and developing countries of the world. Over the last few years, studies suggest that the rate of breast cancer increased from 29% in 2003 to
37.5% in 2007 in Egypt. Very little is still known regarding the features that characterize breast cancer in Egyptian women and whether they differ from women in western countries.
