6-Summary

In this study, three dufferent immunological technique were used to studied and determined the effect of mycoplasma bovis and mycoplasma bovigenitalium on the immune cells of the infected cattle and determined the concentration nitric oxid, lysozyme and catalase in vitro.
A total of 414 samples were collected from 375 cattle of different sexes and ages from different Egyption Governorates 195 were apparently healthy and 219 were clinicaly diseased. The samples were taken from different systems from which mycoplasma was known to be present; 60 preputial wash, 105 from vaginal swabs, 120 from milk,
39 from nasal swabs and 90 from ocular swabs.

Mycoplasma isolation representing 35% and 54% from apparently healthy and diseased cattle repectively.
In other way it represents; 79.5% from nasal swabs 53.3% from preputial wash, 43.3 from ocular swabs,39% from vaginal swabs and
36.7% from milk samples.

Biochemical tests of Mycoplasma isolates were indicated the presence of 5 distinct groups; 98 isolates with glucose fermentation and arginine hydrolysis negative, 41 isolates with glucose fermentation negative and arginine hydrolysis postive, 29 isolates that
