Port Site Complications Following Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy

Abstract
This study was conducted to evaluate the incidence of port site complications in patients who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy in general surgery department for different indications.
Methods:
200 patient's files were reviewed retrospectively. This trial was carried out at Police Hospital/Nasr City between February, 2013 and February, 2015. These medical records have been investigated for development of port site complications. Clinical data, surgery history, past medical history and indication to surgery all were recoded. Major complications were omitted while only port site complications were included.
