Abstract
Neuroblastoma is a malignant tumor that arises from primitive pluipotential sympathetic cells. It constitutes 7% of all childhood cancers with the incidence of 8-10 per million /year in the US.
The prognosis of neuroblastoma in advanced stages (lNSS
3&4) is very poor with 3 year survival rates of 50% and 15%
respectively.
