Abstract
The gasoline station workers drivers, painters, as well as rubber, and leather workers, and cigarette smokers are exposed to benzene toxicity. Chronic inhalation in male rats has significantly increased the plasma /\ST, /\LT and MD/\ collCCiltratioll i11 plasma, a11d liver, brai11, ami hmg tissues. The results were co11lirmed with histopathological examination of liver tissue. The hematological data were presented and revealed significant decrease in hemoglobin, RBCs, and prononnobalsts tha11 the control b •oup, and significant mcrease 111 the WBCs count, promyelocytes, myelocytes, lymphocytes, and eosinophils count. These toxic etlects of benzene were ameliorated by using of vitamins E,C and seleniu:n
