Comparison between arthroscopic reconstruction versus open surgery in massive tear ofthe rotator cuff
Mohamed Ahmed Eweis;
Abstract
Rotator cuff tear is a common disorder of the shoulder. Tears most commonly occur in or around the so called "critical zone" of the supraspinatus tendon. This disease is becoming an increasing problem owing to improved understanding of the patho-anatomy of the rotator cuff and the great advances in different diagnostic modalities including ultrasonography and MRI.
