Innovative Chemical Sensors for the Assessment of Some Industrial Products and Hazardous Wastes
Amiyna -A- Abd Alhafith;
Abstract
The aim of the work of this thesis is to produce , characterize some innovative chemical sensors to quantify some of the industrial products and hazardous wastes.
Chapter one:
Includes the significance and background, selectivity, applicability and some strategies used in fabrication and application of potentiometric sensors, also novel sensor designs.
Chapter two:
This chapter describes preparation and applications of novel liquid polymeric membrane sensors for determination of Imidazole using imidazolinium phosphotungestate (Imd/PT) (sensor 1), tetraphenyl borate (Imd/TPB) complex (sensor 2) and dibenzo-24crown-8 (DB24C8) (sensor 3) in a plasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) matrix, the sensors exhibited significantly enhanced response towards IMD+ ions over the concentration range
