Abstract


The effect of two types of bleaching agents using two different methods was evaluated both clinically and radiographically in this study.


30 patients aged from II to 13 years having discolouration for their upper anterior permanent teeth with freeing of any systemic diseases were used f(H• the study.

Patients were divided into 2 groups:- ..



I - Group !:-


Consists of 15 discoloured permanent upper anterior teeth. Endod ntic treatment was performed for each tooth then bleaching process was done using
35% hydrogen peroxide gel (Opalescence Xtra) activated by standard curing light.

2- Group 11:-


Consists of 15 discoloured upper anterior permanent teeth. After endodontic tTeatment the teeth were bleached with the modified walking bleaching teclmique using a past of 35% hydrogen peroxide (Superoxol) in
liquid fonn and sodium perborate in powder form.
