Verious semples of elumine (AI 2 0J) were obtained by 600"C calcination of alumina hydrates (AI 2 01.xH 20) recovered by precipitation, using different metJ ods, from caustic extracts of sodium aluminate solutions of two raw materials: (a) imported bauxite, and (b) locel aluminium dross teilings (ADT)
