Abstract


ecause of the time, high drug coasts, and emotional expenditure incurred by patients undergoing in vitro fertilization, identifying factors for fertilization in IVF therapy is extremely important. In the same context, the ideal marker for ovarian reserve is one that can be performed in basal state with high sensitivity and specificity for identifying patients who will have live pregnancy outcomes. There for the concept of diminished ovarian reserve has gained general acceptance in infertility medicine.
Many of ovarian tests have become part of routine diagnostic procedure for infertility patients who undergo assisted reproductive techniques the unifing goals are traditionally to find out the respond to stimulation and chance of pregnancy.
Evaluation of ovarian reserve has become an essential part of the treatment assessment of woman about to undergo assisted reproductive technique.
This has been most commonly achieved through recognition of woman age and level of her serum E2 level during the early follicular phase of the menstrual cycle.
