ULTRASONOGRAPHIC FINDINGS IN EYES WITH TRAUMATIC AND COMPLICATED CATARACTS

Abstract
This study included 85 randomly collected patients with 100 catararactous eyes with their age ranged from 2 months to 75 years. Males were 48 patients and females were 37 patients.
30 eyes were traumatic cataract and 70 eyes were complicated cataract.
Traumatic cataract were caused by blunt trauma, penetrating trauma and intraocular foreign bodies while complicated cataract were caused by iridocyclitis, retinal detachment, myopia, diabet es, glaucoma, and persistent hyperplastic primary vitreous (PHPV).
