Abstract

This study was designed to evaluate the effect of shifting of the three illuminants (D65, A, F2) on the final color of three different ceramic materials before and after cementation with composite resin samples that simulate the prepared tooth. The ceramic materials used in this study were Vita Enamic, Vita Suprinity and IPS E-max CAD. These ceramic materials were cut in thirty samples, ten samples for each material using isomet 4000 micro saw with the same dimensions (14 mm × 12 mm × 0.5 mm) then they were finished using special kit and cleaned with distilled water in an ultrasonic cleaner. The composite resin substrate was fabricated of visible – light activated restorative composite material composite resin 3MTM ESPETM FiltekTM Z350 XT, A1 Dentin Shade The dimensions of the composite resin samples were (14 mm × 12 mm × 2.0 mm)
