Abstract


Parental attitude, behavioral reactions• and psychosocial support are important variables that affect the coping and behavioral reactions as the anxiety, depression and aggression in children with chronic illness. The study was carried on a sample of 75 chronically ill children of different diagnoses compared to a control group of (30) healthy children and their parents assessing depression and anxiety. Results showed high depression and other psychiatric symptoms among the chronically ilrchildren and their parents than the control group.
