HAIAM ABDEL-RAOUF SHABAAN;
Abstract
The present work aimed to study the effect of both avocado cored oil and seed oil and their mixture (avocado cored oil and seed oil I: I v/v) on the metabolism of male albino rats. Rats were given avocado oil for 2-weeks and/or 4-weeks time intervals.
Administration of avocado cored oil:
Insignificant changes were found in all groups after administration of avocado cored
oil (A) in most biochemical parameters tested except for aspartate amin:>transferase v. hich was significantly increased, and also for total protein, globulin, triglycerides, cholesterol, low density lipoprotein-cholesterol, and very low density lipoprotein-cholesterol, which •Nere significantly decreased.
