Effect of Different Cleaning & Shaping Strategies on The Canal wall Cleanliness & Centricity And Apical Extrusion of Debris (In-vivo / In-vitro study)
MOSTAFA SHAKER EL AASSER;
Abstract
The purpose of this study is to compare and evaluate the cleanliness and canal centricity, in addition to the apical extrusion of dentin and post-operative pain after the use of two different NiTi filling systems with different motion strategies. The results of study showed mean weight of apically extruded debris with WaveOne file was higher in all groups than Twisted file groups, Twisted Files showed better preservation of the canal centricity than the WaveOne file, Twisted files showed less percentages areas of debris in the apical third of all groups, in addition to the middle third in the severely curved groups. There was no difference between the two file systems in case of comparing the post-operative pain.
