Abstract
The study examined the relationship between the U.S. invasion
•• ••••off Iraq-andforelgn-potlcyof Islamic Republic of Iran towardJb_,_e . , United States of America. The study identified four key factors, to explain the impact on those relations, namely:
1- Features of Iranian foreign policy and political currents within the Islamic Republic of Iran, which affect the Iranian decision-making and the formation of Iranian foreign policy.
2- Features of the foreign policy of the United States during the
term of President George W. Bush towards the Islamic Republic of Iran and the three main currents of thought within the administration over how to deal with the Islamic Republic of Iran and pressures (political, economic, military and social) by the United States of America against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
3- Iranian nuclear issue and the U.S. and European scenarios
possible to deal with this file, and the American threats to the interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Iranian reactions to those threats.
4- The position of the Islamic Republic of Iran before, during and after the U.S. invasion of Iraq, and the close relationship between Iran and the Shiite in Iraq.
Ten came the problem of research in the following basic question: What are the characteristics of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the previous stage and the subsequent United States toward the future in light of the U.S. invasion of Iraq, as the study sought to answer a number of questions that emerged from this main question.
The study was divided into three chapters, each divided into
