PREVALENCE OF RHEUMATIC HEART DISEASE IN PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN FAYOUM

Abstract
Prevalence of rheumatic heart disease in primary school children in Fayoum is found to be 1.78 per thousand according to this present study it still predominantly affect the low socioeconomic groups. This prevalence rate is much lower than the results of many researches previously carried out in different parts in Egypt this is due to the successful effort done to improve school environment and health education for the entire public.
