Abstract
The present work was designed to answer the following questions:
1- What is the reflection of combined chemotherapy and immunotherapy on the state of resistance to S. mansoni reinfection and other aspects of disease morbidity?
2- Which treatment regimen would benefit the host more,
the schistosoma! antigen alone or in combination to specific chemotherapy?
3- Is there any particular immune response pattern that may reflect protection or susceptibility to S. mansoni reinfection?
