Maternal Knowledge, Attitude, and practice Towards The Utilization Of The Available Child Care Services in Fanra Primary Care Units

Abstract


This study give us an idea about what mothers think with the available child care services at primary care units at Fanara village and was considered as initial step in improving the quality of this Services.
The study was aimed to asses the maternal satisfaction with the available services at the family health center which belong to Suez Canal University Hospital and the health unite which belong to ministry of health.
A cross sectional approach was chosen in this assessment as a suitable method to asses three main points:
1- knowledge, attitude and practices of mothers towards the services.

2-determine the factors affecting on this knowledge, attitude and practices.
3- asses the mothers knowledge, attitude and practices towards their children illnesses.
Datawas collected through designed questionnaire by the researcher and analyzed by suitable statistical methods .


The results of this study showed that:

1- the majority of mothers were well known about the services but they were divided to mothers said that the services are available (72.2%) & others said not available(21.9%).
