•GENETICAL STUDIES ON DOWNY MILDEW RESISTANCE IN SORGHUM

Abstract
The present investigation was undertaken :
a) to estimate the genetic parameters in order to find out the appropriate program which can be followed in improving forage sorghum and
b) to study the inheritance of resistant to downy mildew in Sorghum spp.
c) . to select the superior sorghum sudan hybrids resistant to downy mildew which can be used on commercial scale under Egyptian conditions.
