Abstract


The objective of this study is to evaluate the effect of PRF and enamel matrix derivative on the healing of the periapical tissues after endodontic surgery in term of both Clinically and Radiographically.
Sixty patients with periapical lesions in maxillary anterior area were selected.
All patients were subjected to clinical and radiographic examination to examine the available bone cavity size.
Preoperative, 3, 6 and 12 months postoperative periapical digital radiograph were obtained, to evaluate the density of the newly formed bone and the size of the bony cavity. Also 3D digital radiography CBCT were obtained on selected sample to evaluate the density of the newly formed bone and the size of the bony cavity.
