Abstract
Hepatocellular carcinoma is one of the most common malignant tumours worldwide , accounting for an estimated one million deaths annually. In Egypt ,it is reported that HCC is the second most common cancer of the digestive tract constituting !8.4% of digestive tract malignancies and 2.95% of total malignancies.
