Because of the increment of participation in sporting activities at every age group, more children and adolescent than ever before are members of sport clubs or participate in non organized sporting activities. This trend is paralleled by an increasing interest in the study of sport injuries, especially in the prevention of such mJUf!eS.
Football sport mJunes data were collected during season 2000-

2001 for 1057 male and female players in different age groups. The results of the study revealed that (55.65%) of injuries were mild, (44.77%) were due to contact and tackling and (85 66%) of injuries occur during competition.
Abo, the results of the study revealed that prevalence of contusions (28.68%) followed by muscles rupture (21.2%) , then joints soft tissue injuries (19.75%) , then muscles strain C14.79%) , then bone fractures (4.22%) and tlnally joint dislocations (3.33%).
The incidence and severity of injuries during sporting activities mandate more attention, which should be paid to prevention. So we recommend adequate and competent coaching and medical staff that will embrace sound conditioning in training equipment.
