Abstract

The aun of this work was to predict and determine the fertilizing potential of sperm by measuring their ability to undergo in vitro decondensation tested by the chromatin stability test among infertile varicocele patients as well as patients with idiopathic infertility. This study included Ill patients divided into 4 groups. First group of 36 males with idiopathic infertility who has no obvious clinical or laboratory evidence explaining their infertility. Second group of 30 infertile men with clinically palpable varicocele and having abnormal semen quality. Third group of 15 varicocele fertile subjects and finally fourth group of 30 healthy fertile controls.
