Abstract

This study was carried on (COPD) patients in Kafr El­ Zayat health insurance clinic from January 1999 to December 1999?the idea of this study was concentrated on the picture of (COPD) among chest diseases in many aspects .. i.e., epidemiological picture, medical service, economical picture and common trends in management. To give an accurate picture on this study, (COPD) @ patients were classified into (4) groups according to duration of disease, the idea of this classification is evaluation of (COPD) stages in all previous aspects. In.spite of all efforts for giving up smoking, smoking habit is still present especially in late stages.
