CLINICAL EVALUATION OF A NON-FLAP SURGICAL TECHNIQUE FOR DENTAL IMPLANTS INSTALLEMENT

Abstract
Six patients (five females and one male) partially edentulous were selected from the out patient clinic of Prosthesis and Oral Surgery Departments, Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, Cairo
Lniversity.
Their age ranged from 25-45 years.
Each patient received two (screw-vent) implants (3.7 mm) in diameter, while their lengths were (10 mm) in three patients, (13 mm) in two patients and (16 mm) in one patient.
The implants were divided into two groups:
a) Group 1: include 6 implants in which non-surgical technique was used.
h) Group II: include 6 implants in which the regular surgical technique was used the sites for implants were prepared under local anesthesia.
Healing and clinical integration of the two groups were clinically evaluated by assessing the following:
I. Gingival tissue healing and colour.
