Blood Lead Level and Some Psychological Parameters in Physically Abused Children Working in Car Repairing Centers and Petroleum Stations

Abstract
This study was conducted on thirty abused children working in petroleum stations and car repairing centers for more than 3 years, their ages ranged from• 5 _: 15 years, were . chosen among those children living in Shohada, Menouf and Tala towns.
Another 15 children of the same age, sex;socioeconomic level were chosen as controls.
All children were subjected to the following:
A) History taking including •housing, family number, socioeconomic level, history of school escaping and duration of work.
B) Full clinical examination including growth parameter and deformity in the spine and bony skeleton.
C) Intravenous blood sample was be withdrawn and•examined for:
l. Hemoglobin level HB%.
2. Blood lead level.
