Abstract


The incidence of abdominal delivery alkrprcvious cesarean section is more than the delivery of vaginal delivery after cesarean section.
There is various factors, wich could affect the mode of delive1y, including:


The degree of cervical dilatation at the time of admission, hist01y of prior vaginal delivery, indication ofpn:vious ccsan:an section, birth weight, condition of mcmbram;s at the time of admission, multiple pregnancy, cephalopelvic disproportion, malpresentation, fetal distress. It's found that the degree of cervical dilation on admission in labour is a signilicant prognostic factor with regard to successful vaginal delivery after trial of labour.


-Patients with cervical dilatation more than 5 em had higher incidence of successful vaginal delivery.
-Patients with prior cesarean section for cephalopelvic disproportion-failure to progress= had a higher incidence of recurrent cesarean section than those who had their primary cesarean the rate C.S. in those patients was I 00% section for other indication.
