Abstract
Eight bread wheat genotypes were studied in a diallel cross to investigate the potentiality of heterosis expression for heading date, maturity date , plant height ,spike length , number of spikes /plant ,number of grains /spike , I 000-grain weight ,yellow rust resistance and grain yield /plant.The magnitude of both general and specific combining ability and their interactions with three nitrogen fertilizer levels were also studied
