Abstract
The objectives of this study were to evaluate both interleukin-8 and fetal fibronectin in cervico-vaginal secretion of women pregnant in twins as a predictors of preterm delivery and to compare the diagnostic value of interleukin-8 and fetal fibronectin in predicting preterm delivery. 120 women pregnant in twins between 28-40 gestational weeks. They were divided into 4 groups (A) 30 patients were premature not in labor (PMNIL) (B) 30 patients were mature not in labor (MNIL) (C) 30 patients were premature in labor (PMIL) (D) 30 patients were mature in labor (MIL).
