Abstract


Mood disorders are common conditions. Major depressive disorder has a lifetime prevalence of 5-12 % for men and 10–25 % for women. Bipolar I disorder has a lifetime incidence of about 0–2.4 %.Bipolar II disorder has a life time prevalence of about 0.3–4.8
