A COMPARATIVE STUDY BETWEEN GOVERNMENTAL AND PRIVATE HOSPITALS IN CAIRO CITY IN RELATION TO DIFFERENT ASPECTS OF THE NUTRITIONAL CARE AND THEIR CORRELATION WITH FOOD CONSUMPTION OF THE PATIENTS IN THOSE HOSPITALS

Abstract

The pnmary intention of this study includes acomparative study between governmental, health insurance and private hospitals in cairo city in relation to different aspects of the nutritional care and their correlation with food consumption of the patients in those hospitals, in view of the most recent scientific knowledge in the field . This was in order to suggest some recommendations and practical solutions to over come the existing problems and to imporove the nutritional and therapeutic (diabetic) efficiencies of these diets . This study was carried out at 3 governmental, 2 health msurance and 2 private hospitals in cairo . The Governmental chosen hospitals are : AI Mounira hospital, Boulaq hospital and Om AI Massriin hospital . Health insurance hospitals included AI Mokattam hospital and 6. October hospital . Private hospitals included El Nozha hospital and El Fyros hospital . This study was made on arandom sample of 298 normal and diabetic diets offered at the previous hospitals .
