ON INTEGER STOCHASTIC PROGRAMMING

ASHRAF EBRAHIM EL-SAYD;

Abstract

An integer linear programming problem, henceforth called an Integer program is a Linear programming (LP) problem where in some or all the decision variables are restricted to be integer valued.
A Pure Integer program (IP) is one where all the variables are restricted to be integers. A Mixed Integer Program (MIP) restricts some of the variables to be integers whi1e others can assume continuous values. A Mixed Integer (or Integer) program in which the integer variables are constrained to be 0 or 1 are called Zero-one (0-1) Mixed Integer (or Integer) programs.
