Pregnancies of 294 days duration or more are defined as ‘prolonged’, ‘post-dates’, or ‘post-term’ (WHO, 2003).
Postdate pregnancies account for about 5 – 10 % of the deliveries and are known to be associated with increased risk for perinatal complicatio
