Abstract


Asthma is a serious global health problem affecting all age groups, with increasing prevalence in many developing countries, rising treatment costs, and a rising burden for patients and the community. The aim of the present study was to study Demographic and clinical characteristics of bronchial asthma patients and its relation to level of control in Al-mahalla chest hospital. This study was conducted at Al-Mahalla chest hospital, and included 200 adult patients with bronchial asthma having a wide range of asthma severity, from those attending the outpatient clinic and those admitted as inpatients.
