Abstract
The purpose of this study is to provid some frame works by the frameworks provide some coverage of political events in Yemeni press (place of the study) and their relationship tawards the attitudes of university students (study sample) about these events, through the application of theory of news framing analysis and rely on the media.
It also aimed to identify How much difference between the government and private newspapers and political parties in dealing with news of the events of domestic politics, where political various trends may in turn led to the secretion of different media frames, and the interest of the subjects to adopt these frameworks, and their attitudes towards them.
The study used a survey method, the comparative method, tools in content analysis and a newspaper survey that had been applied on a sample of 400 individuals from university students at the Universities of Sana'a and Aden, which revealed a high rate of reading Yemeni news papers.
The results of analytical, and quantitive study, which lasted three for months, from 9-1 to 30/11/2008 during which analysis of 744 news and
143 news report, which emerged from at series of events, most notably
are preparation for the parliamentary elections 2009, and the events of the movement in the south.
