EFFICACY OF SELECTED THERAPEUTIC EXERCISES PROGRAM IN THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS WITH LOW BACK DYSFUNCTION

Abstract
The current study was conducted in the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University during the months of March to June 2005. The purpose of this study was to objectively investigate the efficacy of selected therapeutic exercise program in the treatment of patients with low back dysfunction using BROM device as an objective measurement for assessment for lumbar ROM and the reduction of pain and disability of the LBD patients through using the VAS and the Oswestry Disability Index as an objective method of assessment.
Sixty patients participated in this study. The patients were within the same average age, weight and height. They were randomly assigned into three equal groups of pre and post control group design with group (A) the control group and groups (B and C) the experimental ones.
